I Bought this beautiful silk Edwardian skirt on Ebay; carefully laundered and removed damaged areas. I was pleased to discover that except for the waistband area, the fabric was quite sound. There was beautiful pintucking which I incorporated where possible and three rows of insertion lace. All pieces were used with scraps going to make hand rolled roses. It was such a lovely fabric to work with and the delicate pattern so beautiful; I hated to waste any. |
