1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup oleo margarine
1/4 cup shortening
1/2 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
3 eggs (large)
1 pinch of salt
1 1/2 cups cake flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup milk
Cream sugar, oleo margarine, and shortening until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. Beat well after each addition. Add flavoring. Combine flour, salt and baking powder. Add this to creamed mixture and mix well. Add milk and beat five minutes. Pour into greased and floured 5x9 inch loaf pan. Place in cold oven. Set oven for 300 degrees and bake for 1 and 1/2 hours. - From the kitchen of Rubye Senseman.
