2 eggs, beaten
1 scant teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
2 cups milk
3 teaspoons baking powder
4 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 cup pecan meats, chopped
Mix eggs, salt and sugar and beat well. Add 1 cup flour, baking powder, and 1 cup milk and beat. Blend in rest of milk, 1 cup flour, and the melted butter. Beat. If desired, pecans may be optional (but delicious!). Makes 8 waffles.
