Heinitz
Eva Heinitz, an ICS interviewee (http://www.cello.org/Newsletter/Articles/heinitz.htm
), and my former cello teacher, died today. She was in her early
90's. I owe her my musical life. I loved her very much (in spite of
... well ... you'd have to have met her to understand).

Tim, I am sorry for your loss. As
MaryK said, another legend is gone. I read the article you had
linked and she sounded like one of a kind.

I didn't study with her, mores the
pity, but I did audition for her. Great lady.
