Revolutionary Leaders of Viet-Nam
Sao Nam Phan Boi Chau
Phan Dinh Phung
H.I.M. The Emperor Duy Tan
Tran Cao Van
Among the great revolutionary heroes of Viet-Nam, we can see a proud common theme among them. All were at heart firmly loyal to the people of Viet-Nam and the culture and traditions of their country. Phan Dinh Phung first fought in the Can Vuong Movement led by the heroic Emperor Ham Nghi against the French colonial power. Phan Boi Chau was also a devoted monarchist who took inspiration from the defiance of H.I.M. Emperor Ham Nghi. His goal was a constitutional monarchy for Viet-Nam, but he was betrayed by Ho Chi Minh and arrested by the French. The young Emperor Duy Tan was absurdly charged with treason, ridiculous given that, as Emperor of Viet-Nam, he could not betray himself. His loyal revolutionary supporter Tran Cao Van was likewise murdered by the colonial authorities for his loyalty to the Emperor and his desire to bring freedom to his country.
