If you don't know: The Honda VFR, sometimes known as the Interceptor, has been in production since 1984. The liquid-cooled V-4 Engine is considered by many to be one of the best (top 5) engine designs ever. These bikes are legendary for their reliability.
I bought the '91 VFR750 in August of 2001, and just a few months later in April of 2002, I purchased the 2001 VFR800 (on the left above). I didn't want a 2002, and wanted to grab a 2001 before there disappeared out of the dealerships. As a result, I have only put about 3K miles on the VFR750 (and have over 20K miles on the 800!).
The previous owner toured on this bike, including a cross-country trip. It's a comfortable, powerful, responsive bike. I've taken it on 500-mile round-trip adventures and it was comfortable, steady and reliable. It loves tearing around Kitt Peak, Gates Pass and the roads out around Arivaca, but is also a great daily commuter. It's a great all-around bike.
I sold this bike to an Arizona rider in 2004 to be used as a daily commuter. He was a very happy man as he rode away on it, in fact from what I heard he didn't stop riding for hours that night.
