About MeI am a graduate student in Physics at the University of North Dakota. I received a B.S. in May 1997 with a major in Physics and minors in Computer Science and math. I received my M.S. in Physics in December 2000. My graduate research in Physics involved analyzing x-ray images of galaxy clusters. I obtained a Master's in Space Studies in 2002.As an undergrad, I received an REU (Research Experience for Undergrads) grant from ND EPSCor and NASA space grants. I presented a paper at the 1997 National Conference for Undergraduate Research in Austin, Texas. As a graduate student, I received a research assistantship and presented a poster at the Summer '98 meeting of the American Astronomical Society. My teaching experience includes the Physics 110 Astronomy Lab for two semesters as an undergraduate and Physics 150,161,211,212, and 251 labs as a graduate student. I was an occasional substitute lecturer for Astronomy 110 and taught Introductory Physics at Northwest Technical College during summer 2001 and Physics 211 at UND during the summer of 2004.
