General and Vascular Surgery Completing a general surgery residency at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles, Dr. Mazzarella is trained in general, vascular, thoracic, oncologic, and laparoscopic surgery. His training in Trauma and Critical Care at the USC/Los Angeles County Hospital complements his experience as a general surgeon. Further training includes general and vascular surgery experience at UC Irvine / Long Beach Veterans Administration Medical Center. He is Board Certified in General Surgery.
