Alumni Association
The old boys’ association was inaugurated on the 4th of September 1954.
It was renamed as Alumni Association in 1972. During the Silver Jubilee Celebrations,
the Alumni Association raised money for a building fund and helped the college
administration. It brought out Alumni Newsletter in 1972, 1973 and 1974. Every
year, the Alumni Association honours teachers who have completed 25 years of
service. There are also a few monks of Sri Ramakrishna order who were Swami
Shantatmanandaji Maharaj (Sri Jayashenkar), Swami Athmapriyanandaji Maharaj
(Sri J. Prabhakaran), Swami Swaprashanandaji Maharaj (Sri Prasenan) alumni of
the College. Recently brahmachari Swati Prabhu, has joined the Ramakrishna mission.
Visits by the distinguished alumni are recorded in the College Magazine (for
example, 1993, 1996, 1997, 1999, 2000).
