With the blessings of the Secretary Swami Satyapriyanandaji Maharaj, for the first time in the history of Viveka NCC our college conducted Inter-collegiate NCC competition called ‘VIVEKASENA’. It was a grand success. Eleven colleges participated and competed in eight different events like Contingent Drill, Guard of Honour, Cross Country, etc., for the prestigious banner. It was a two- day programme and it was ably conducted with the cooperation of our Ex-seniors and our cadets. We got an excellent appreciation as feedback from all the participants.
The Secretary, Swami Satyapriyanandaji Maharaj, inaugurated VIVEKASENA on 22-01-2005. After swamiji’s inaugural address, the first event contingent drill started with the demonstration by our twenty smart cadets. The second event was Guard of Honour and the rest of the events Viveka blossom, obstacle race, Cross-country, flag area, Best cadet and Cultural programme were successfully completed in two days. On the second day evening, felicitation took plac4e at Obul Reddy Hall. Col. Rajesh Mathew congratulated the winners and distributed the prizes.
This success has been achieved through team work. We are thankful to our Principal Dr. V. V. Subramaniam and Secretary Maharaj for their valuable suggestions and support, which helped us in a big way.
