Momma Shay has been in rescue for 3 long years . she was brought here after her owners moved and left her behind very pregnant. Momma Shay had 14 puppies all of them died with in a few days after birth. Our vet said it was something genetic . Momma Shay had never been in a house or taught anything until our volunteer Sharry started working with her Sharry has taught her to walk on a leash, to sit , and to shake. Momma Shay fell in love with Sharry . when Sharry is close to our house Momma Shay knows it and starts her "special cry "
Sharry comes 2 -3 times a week and walks the rescue dogs and helps in other area here as well. Sharry has another dog so Momma Shay will have a brother and two sister cats (she is not crazy about cats) . There is still a lot of training to do with Momma Shay but her mom Sharry is committed to her and will do all that is necessary to insure Momma Shay a wonderful forever INSIDE Home.
