Adventure Christian Church
An independent non-denominational church
located in the highly educated demographic of the Roseville
- Rocklin area. This church became known for its relaxed
atmosphere oriented toward teaching instead of rule-making.
The success of this style is seen in its growth to 3,000
attenders in under five years, with almost no publicity
beyond word of mouth, and no heavy-handed fundraising
tactics. Music style is contemporary, led by a highly
professional husband and wife team. Their senior pastor is a
former California State University instructor who can now be
heard on radio AM 710 at 2:30 pm Monday thru Friday.

Warehouse Christian Ministries
This group pioneered, locally, the concept
of an informal church which happily allows people to attend
wearing blue jeans. Their contemporary musical style has
catered to the younger generation from the beginning (even
20 years ago when most other churches' music seemed stuck in
the Lawrence Welk generation of the 1950's). To get away
from stuffy church building images, they chose to locate in
a warehouse business park. This church's contemporary style
was decades ahead of its time. Most of the highly successful
"competing" local churches have since adopted a similar
style. Located on Business Park Drive between Sacramento and
Rancho Cordova.
