McNair, Christine  (posted Nov. 1, 2004)
I live in Bohemia, New York and own my own Landscaping company.  I have five kids and six grandchildren!  I’d love to hear from my classmates, and would like to know when the next reunion is (I’ve never made it to any, yet).  I also have four dogs, three cats, two horses and a goat.  I love to ride in Connetquot State Park.  Thanks again, Christine.

Moore, Russ (posted August 31, 2005)

Steve, I will not be able to attend. My son has just returned from a year of combat in Ar Ramadi, Iraq and I'll be spending some time with him in addition to racing in a Canadian Vintage Grand Prix this weekend, followed by a Ferrari event next weekend, then racing in the vintage grand prix at Watkins Glen the next weekend. SSgt. Patrick Moore refused the Purple Heart and was awarded two Bronze Stars for saving the lives of his men and getting them to safety while under fire. He used skills learned as an EMT working with our local EMS to save these lives during combat operations. My level of pride in my son cannot be put into words. Please extend my best regards to all those I will miss seeing. I always was under the naive belief, life got less complicated as you got older. Interesting how wrong I could be about that. Please say hello to Suzanne for me, hopefully she remembers me.
Best regards -- Russ Moore

Poteete, Tony  (posted Nov. 1, 2004)
Jean and I have an empty nest. My son Bob is in his second year of law school at UCLA, and Anna is in her second year of college at Brandeis. She intends to be an English teacher.

Power, Elise  (posted Nov. 1, 2004)
I’m single, and living in Dallas – recently moved out West from New Jersey.  I manage the Dallas program for VistaCare Hospice.  I’ve just taken up golf, and I’m a Nana for the first time.  (That’s me in the photo with my grandson, Jett.)  I’m excited about the idea of coming back East for the reunion.
Thanks Steve --  Elise  (“Joisey Girl”)

Elise’s daughter, Penney Ramsey, was a featured contestant on the hit reality show "Survivor Thailand."  Pitted against nature and the other contestants, Penny received a good deal of notoriety from her stint on the show.  Some links worth seeing are at: http://www.sirlinksalot.net/pennyramsey.html
Elise recently moved from New Jersey to Texas and wrote in to say that her daughter Penny just gave birth to a son, Jett Mathew.  Congrats Nana Elise!  (

Ragone, Joe  (posted August 31, 2005)

I ran into Louise Hartstein and her husband this past weekend in Lynbrook and she told me about your website.  I just started browsing it this evening and I want to say that you've done a great job with it. I came to your missing classmates section and I can supply some information on two of them.  Unfortunately, one of them is deceased.
Judy Allis lived across the street from us with her three teenaged children and her father.  About 8 years ago she suffered a brain aneurysm and passed away.  It was very sad and very sudden.
Barbara (Casale) Conlon is almost family (my brother is married to her sister) so I know a little something about her.  She's been married forever, it seems, has three kids and two grandchildren.  She lives in Bellmore and, to me, anyway, still looks the same.
Feel free to publish my e-mail address on your site:  ragone@optonline.net. I'm still in Valley Stream.  I married a great girl (she puts up with me) who graduated from South in 1976 and our daughter will be starting her senior year at South in September.  Keep up the good work with the website and take care.

Raye, Steve  (posted March 1, 2005)
Steve Raye is alive and well and living in Simsbury CT.  Steve and his Sue (they met as freshman at Cornell and have been married for 27 years!) have two daughters in college, Lindsay at Champlain College and Jessie at the University of Maine.  Steve spent the first half of his career in advertising, the second half on the client side, and currently is spending the third half as a consultant specializing in internet marketing for clients including McCormick Spices and Waterman Pens. Steve still plays golf (mediocre-ly but passionately) and is an avid fly fisherman.  (
