Camping Battery
Since I tend to like some creature comforts while camping, such as lights and fans I decided to hook up an auxillary battery.
I picked up a cheap deep cycle trolling motor battery at WalMart for about $30.00.  The quick-connectors I used are from a computer battery backup.  I also used insulated post hookups that are made for a trolling motor.  At some point I will probably hook this battery up through an isolater that will allow it to charge while the vehicle is running.  For now I just throw it on my battery charger for a few hours before heading out for the weekend.  In this view you can also see the expanding plugs that I put in the rear heater outlets for when I am storing stuff under the seat in the summer.
This is the view of the outlets that I installed just inside of the sliding door.  There are 3 12V plugs at the bottom and a switched light at the top.  I got these at Walmart as well for about $20.00.  I can use the outlets for my fan and to run outside patio lights.  So far this system has worked very well for me.  I may expand it to add a few more outlets inside the rear hatch down the road, for now I just use a 12V extension for anything that needs to be more than a few feet away from the plugs.
