Here is the poptop as we found it upon our arrival in
Peterborough.  In this photo you can see the framework of the hinge mechanism pretty well.  This long rail setup is the reason that it is possible to attach the ASI Penthouse top to a passenger bus without doing any welding.
 
In this photo you can see all of the bits and pieces necessary to install the bed in the poptop (sans mattress, that was another project).  The piece of plywood in the back of the photo is the base for the matress, it folds out to make a full 6' bed. 
Here is a good view of the poptop and luggage rack as they would sit on the bus.  The luggage rack on the Riviera is a bit deeper than any of the other campers I have seen.  It makes storing camp chairs etc. a little less stressful.
