Development of UAZ-469 - off-roader UAZ-3160. It's 7 seats 5
doors frame-based station wagon with luggage compartment of LxWxH:
3'3.4"x3'7.3"x3'6.9", loading height: 30". More comfortable model. It
has coil spring front suspension and stabilizer, leaf spring rear, power steering. Motor:

3.94", stroke 3.62"), power: 100 hp top speed 84 mph, fuel economy: 16.8 mpg.

Gearbox: 5x2 step, 2/4 WD shifter, on/off front axle, without transaxle differential. Brakes: front - ventilated disks, rear - drums, with hydraulic control. Measures: lengt 13'11", wheel base 7'10.5". Maneuverability: turning circle 41'6", ground clearance 8.7". Curb weight 4,255 lbs (for base model). Tyres 225/80R16 or 225/75R16. Coefficient of drag (Cx) = 0.49.
There is long wheel base modification - UAZ-3162 "Simbir" (s. ending of 1998). It differs from 3160 by capacity (9 seats), length (15'7.2"), wheel base (9'0.5"), turn radius (23'7.5"), payload (1,764 lbs) and curb weight (4,431 lbs). Top speed 94 mph. UAZ-31622 (top speed 93 mph, price $12,000) is powered by ZMZ-4092.10 engine, UAZ-31622-300 is powered by new UMZ-049B type engine (gasoline (multi-point fuel injection), straight 4, 2.9 liter, modified rear suspension, stabilizer. UAZ-31625 (top speed 87 mph, price $10,800) is powered by UMZ-4213.10 engine. Production program in year 2000: 200 units.
