Humble Beginnings

STATS Breed: Netherland Dwarf Mix Weight: 4 lbs Age: 1 year Color: Beige with patches of black. White underbelly. Personality: His personality is true Netherland Dwarf.  He must have things his own way! Very bright and has learned not to bite the furniture.  However, he still has a taste for power cords. Loves being petted but only when he's in the mood.

Ben at 8 weeks

Ben started out as a shelter bunny.  We believe he was born in Queens or Long Island, NY -which might explain the 'tude! After I made the decision to get a shelter bunny I did some research and found a local shelter that had a litter of young bunnies available. (An older bunny would have been fine for me but my boyfriend insisted that he be a baby...oh well.) So I made a call to the shelter and found out that the bunnies had been given to a rabbit rescue group in Hopatcong, NJ.  So off we drove (for an hour and a half) to get our little bun.  I pretty much knew Ben was the one I wanted. He was the really cute one who kept running away and thumping. (What!?! I didn't know that was a bad thing!) Anyway, we took him home and the rest is history.
