MEASUREMENTS
How long, short, heavy, light, high, low, fast, slow in inches, ounces, meters, centimeters, kilometer p/hour, miles p/hour, Beaufort?

Here are some of the measurement conversions I have been using regularly to keep comparing apples with apples.
Wind speed (or anything else that moves)
In this Excel file from Martin Farrimond, you can enter a value in row 2, and see the equivalent in all other ways windspeed is indicated.  All formulae are protected, so you cannot wipe anything out by mistake.  (as if...)
Weights Grams to Ounces, Kilos to Pounds, vice versa, and the other way around..  Just enter a value in the yellow cells, and see the equivalent appear.  All formulae are protected, so don't worry about overwriting a formula.
Lenghts (or shorts)
How Long is a Chinese.  And That Long is his brother... ( know it's a lame joke, but I couldn't help myself...)  Again, just enter a value in the yellow cells, and see the equivalent appear.  All formulae are protected, so don't worry about overwriting a formula.
