This is my second forray into Unicorn building.  Three years ago, after a 25 odd years break of R/C flying, I re-entered with the Unicorn Flying Wing. I will not repeat the whole story here, since it's been told already previously here.
After many, many, many hours of fun at the slope and flat fields, the inevitable happened.  I
crashed and totalled my beloved 'Corn.

After a suitable period of mourning a new set of cores was ordered, and
an extensive build thread was published.  Care was taken to build a new and improved version. Incorporating everything I had learned.

Unfortunately, I did not take the same care when I wnet to the field to do the maiden flight.  A combination of poor pre-flight checks and "dumb thumbs" caused the maiden flight to be rather
disastrous.

We are back to square one now, having to strip, repair, and re-build the 'Corn.  This time I'm planning to use new servos...
