While Japan did occupation in Indonesia -1945-, Jawanese people changed using grass rope to plastic rope. At the same time, in Indonesia, Japan was wellknown as the society that brought the hi-tech culture. I don't know why people called that new rope as "Japanese grass". Maybe, just due to plastic was kinds of modernmism and hi-tech culture product, otherwise be the symbol of new neck choking, capitalism or environmental spam. Wallahu'alam.
