Why should you play in the Washer Pitching Tournament?

We are organizing a Washer Pitching Tournament on Saturday, August 26th. Pitching washers is similar in nature to pitching horseshoes; For more detailed information about Washer Pitching visit his website at www.oocities.org/washerpitching. Participants score points by pitching a steel washer into a slanted platform with a hole in the center. The scoring method also imitates horseshoes and the first pitching team that reaches 21 points wins the game.

The Washer Pitching Tournament will be held at 1:00 PM at the Pier Park (Grosse Pointe Farms, MI) near the volleyball courts. Registration begins at 12:00 PM. This will be a blind draw tournament, single players only (no teams during tournament play) done before 1:00 PM. The fee to enter the tournament is $5 per person, payable during registration prior to the event. This is a double elimination tournament and the first place winner will receive a cash prize. Anyone can play, men, women, and children. Just show up early to practice!

Players are welcome to bring family & friends, BYOE (bring your own everything), and we will BBQ, enjoy the sun & pool, or any other activities you wish. Questions may be directed to washoes@gmail.com.
