US 72:   From Memphis,TN, US 72 would follow US 64 to near Vincent, a new alignment to Gieseck, AR 306 (including new St. Francis River bridge and approaches) to Hunter, US 49 south to AR 38 west to Cabot, AR 89 to AR 107, new alignment to Saltillo, AR 286 to Conway, AR 60 to Plainview, AR 28 to Needmore, US 71 south to Mena, AR 8 west to the OK line.

US 73:  From Kansas City, KS, US 73 would follow K-7 to K-10 to I-435 to US 71 to Harrisonville, MO, then MO 7 to Clinton, MO 13 to Springfield, US 60 to Monett, MO/AR 37 south to US 62, US 62 to Eureka Springs, AR 23 to US 71, US 71 south to DeQueen, AR 41 south to the TX line.

US 78: From Memphis, US 78 would follow I-55 north to Turrell, US 63 north to Marked Tree, AR 14 west to Batesville, AR 25 south to Heber Springs, AR 16 to near Crossroads, new alignment to US 65 near Bee Branch, US 65 north to Clinton, AR 16 west to Siloam Springs, US 412 west to the OK line.

US 171: From Shreveport, US 171 would follow US 79/80 to LA 3, LA 3/AR 29 to Hope, US 278 to Nashville, AR 27 to Rover, AR 28 to Ola, AR 7 to Harrison.

US 270: From Pine Bluff, US 270 would follow a new alignment and Arkansas River bridge to the US 79B/AR 31 junction, US 79B to Altheimer, new alignment to Lodge Corner, US 165 to DeWitt, new alignment to the Mississippi River near Lundell.

US 271: From Ft. Smith, US 271 would follow I-540 north to I-40 west to AR 59, then AR 59 north to the MO line.

US 278: From Wickes, US 278 would follow US 59/71 north to Cove, and AR 4 west to the OK line.

US 425: From Pine Bluff, US 425 would follow US 65 north to US 63/79 north to US 79B south to AR 15 north to Cabot (with business route through Cabot), AR 5 north to the MO line.  US 425 could follow MO/IA 5 to Des Moines, IA.
