Just how do you sing the way you do?
No one else could even compare to you.
Oh, how you melt me when you sing!
I lose control, you are my everything.
So many years I have been dreaming of you.
You strut across a stage the way that you do.
Your jungle cat moves, that animal grace.
I'm entranced by your eyes and angelic face.
Since the beginning you were "Youth Gone Wild".
And I dreamt of you back when I was just a child.
All the years gone by and I still feel the same.
And I still swoon whenever I hear your name.
Your voice is like a thousand angels sighing.
It tears me up, I can't keep from crying.
From "18 and Life" to "Amazing Grace"
Yours is the voice no one could replace.
And so in closing, Dear Baz, let me just say this;
you've blessed us all, given us something to wish.
Your fans are true blue and we cherish you.
