Kori's A' Cookin'

Kori's a' cookin' so what's to eat
Rice and gravy, beans and meat
Got the pots goin' to cook it all good
The fire's a bit low so, I'll fetch some more wood
To build the fire high enough
To cook this meat, beans and stuff
Bakin' choclit'  pie for desert
Eatin' like this is surely worth
More than the price that you pay
I could eat like this every day
Just keep it a' cookin' till it's all done
Gladly we'll eat each and every one
Fatten us up for the kill
Just let us know if the grocery bill
Climbs as high as the fire
For this good home cookin' that we desire
Stir them pots to your hearts content
Eatin' like this I must admit
Is sure to add a pound or two
Everything's tight including my shoes
I guess I'll go out to fetch some cokes
'Cause while I'm a' eatin' I'd hate to choke
So, off I go to fetch drinks, to wash it all down
But, you know I'll be back when home cookin's around
