| Saintly Examples Hail, hail to all above This alone should be our first love GOD and heaven and all that is good Follow the examples of the Saints who would Leaving this world after following Jesus' map Of how we are to behave and how we should act And be in our approach towards gaining GOD'S favor To make holy choices and never to waiver In a life that is holy, rightous and just Not to surrender to gluttony or lust The things of this world that tend to hold us down You can't fly to heaven with feet on the ground We must remember that all of our possessions on earth Will eventually fade and no longer have worth The value we tend to give them at times All at death will stay behind No matter how high our possessions are stacked When going to heaven no bags are packed The only thing we're allowed to bring with us Is our soul, Which had better have been generous and just |
