Shakespear's Rain Raindrops fall and hit the ground Pounding out a rhythmic sound To which perhaps Shakespear could write A Sonnet which was sure to delight All who are to read, that they Are completely engulfed and taken away By his words as they listen to And imagine that they were written for you His words could uplift and elevate Your accomplishments aquired on this date A reward for a job well done A pleasure to enjoy as the setting sun Sinks slowly in the west as day becomes night You've completed your day and now can delight In relaxation as you savor his words These words by Shakespear now become yours He left them on paper that they may be shared For all to enjoy, this he prepared To place his works on paper this way To later be read, as you're doing today Allow his thoughts to now become yours He left his works for us to explore His innermost thoughts and perceive his view I'm certain he intended for us to do |
