From August 20th through August 28th, we left our Salt Lake City home and headed for Yellowstone National Park.

Each event in Yellowstone is chance. You don't schedule geyser eruptions. One geyser that everyone hopes to catch at sundown is Great Fountain.
Just before Great Fountain is about to erupt, the sunset turns brilliantly beautiful, making for a perfect picture.
Swimming in the Firehole River. This is one of the few spots where swimming is allowed in Yellowstone.
