Who We Are:

Wayward Husky Rescue Network is a group of local Siberian lovers who have banded together to help owners and shelters place homeless, abused, or abandoned Siberian Huskies. We also offer owner counseling for "challenging" dogs. Siberian Huskies are very smart and learn quickly. Most of the time, with a few training tips, that "challenging" dog can become the loving family pet it is supposed to be and a home can be saved. We are here to help any Siberian owner or anyone who wants to be a Siberian owner in any way we can!

Unfortunately, due to the limited number of foster homes available, we are unable to take any dogs at this time. However, we do offer free posting service on this website which averages over 100 hits per week. If you are interested in taking advantage of this service please email your dogs photo, statistics, and contact information to Michele at shelzysibe@aol.com. If you are interested in becoming a foster home please contact us at siberunner@msn.com or rescue@branik-kennels.com. Shelter Dogs and dogs available through other rescues

The following dogs are available through an animal shelter or other rescue organization. They are not part of Wayward Husky Rescue Network. Please note that this dog(s) has not been evaluated by the WHRN, and that all information pertaining to this dog(s) has been supplied to us by shelter or rescue staff. All contractual obligations concerning this dog will be between the shelter/rescue and the adopter.

The following dog is available from Blue Grass Border Collie Rescue

This is Cindy. She is a Border Collie Sibe mix. She is an adorable 12 weeks old, outgoing, friendly and active! Cindy probably won't get much bigger than 30lbs. If you have room in your heart and home for sweet Cindy, email us at kysheltiebcresq@aol.com or call (859)272-4070.

	A.J.- 1 - 2 year old male, red and cream, gold eyes, 50-55#. Friendly, calm, ok with female dogs, cats. Started training. He's crate trained, housebroken, shots utd, wormed and on HW prevention. 	Kodiak- 3 year old male, black and white, blue eyes, 50#. Vocal, friendly, ok with dogs, no cats or small kids. I've started his training. 	Eclipse is 3 years old (DOB 6-11-98) b/w, blue eyes, about 40-45#. Knows basic obedience, crate trained, housebroken. Kinda vocal. He's a real puller, we started him in harness training when he was young I use him to pull stuff around here and he loves it. Crate trained, housebroken, shots utd, wormed, and on HW prevention. 	Krys is 1 1/2 years old (DOB 1-19-00) b/w bi eyed, about 30-35#. Knows basic obedience, crate trained. He's a screamer but is only vocal occasionally. High energy and shy with strangers. Has great instinct to be a pull but is a real small boy (19-20"). Housebroken, shots utd, wormed, and on HW prevention. 	Wonder is 3 years old (DOB 6-11-98) dilute b/w, bi eyed (1 brown / 1 parti), about 40#. Knows basic obedience and some tricks, crate trained, housebroken. Really loves attention. Quiet. Won't get on the furniture even though my dogs are allowed. No desire to pull at all. Shots utd, wormed, and on HW prevention.
