Hello good
citizens of Norrath! The crusade to put an end to pking has continued to gather
support, and the love of Tunare is slowly descending on the once-corrupt area
known as Gfay.
Just the other day my brothers Keric, Jaems and myself
were sitting on orc hill watching the 'good' elves level peacefully for a
change. We smiled and offered them words of advice and encouragement. It is
clear that they look up to us as beacons of goodness and kindness.
Every
so often, we would notice that one of them was using 'pvp-ish' tactics against
the orcs, thereby showing themselves to be horrible pkers. Every time that
happened, we were quick to dispatch of the villain.
Things were
slowing down, and just when it seemed like we might be able to enjoy a quiet and
peaceful night in Gfay, things suddenly went down hill. We encountered a human
bard named Kaeiran whom we had never seen before. The bard was extremely well
equipped, and was causing quite a disturbance in my otherwise peaceful zone. We
tried to warn him, in hopes that he would leave on his own power.
Things began
to escalate as they so often do. I feared greatly that this exchange might end
in violence. I prayed that Mother Tunare would show us a peaceful way to resolve
our differences, but unfortunately that could not be done.
I somehow suspect
that I haven't heard the last of this music-lover.
The elves didn't
seem to grasp the full concept of our good deeds. It's funny how pkers reveal
themselves. They often don't even have to commit even one act of violence to
show their true colors. Many times it can be seen in the way they protest the
fact that my group is eliminating other pkers.
Clearly there
was much work to do in order to restore sanity to the zone. Our 20 minute romp
of kiting the psychotic bard all over Gfay had provided the pkers with ample
time to gather reinforcements.
