Chef Sarita Kaul a native of Kashmir, demonstrates her skill and passion for cooking by bringing for the first time the authentic, healthy and unique gourmet cuisine of Kashmir Valley to the New York Metropolitan area. The informal cozy ambiance of Wazwan is striking not to speak of the well known Kashmiri hospitality at its limit. The menu features a lot of vegetarian options and renditions of distinct non-vegetarian entress which span from mild white sauce Gushtaba, Yakhni and authentic mildly spices red-sauce Rogan Josh to spicy Rista and Korma. A mixed lamb and fenugreek dish 'The Methi-Maaz'.
The vegetarian dishes include the famous spicy Damaloo, tangy Nadir-Yakhni and pretty yellow sauce Kosher Chaaman a "comfort dish" combined with the soothing traditional Kashmiri-Kahwa, a green cinnamon tea and mouth watering carrot-halva & homemade rice pudding.
