CONTINENTAL introduced 1904 (Germany) and extremely successful for over twenty years
IDEAL A2  introduced 1904, Germany; progenitor of a long line of machines
JAPY first introduced in 1908, produced in France.
MENTOR (also Thuringia, Monofix) appeared 1909, Germany.
REGINA first appeared 1904; made in Germany.
URANIA; first on market in 1909.  Made in Germany.
TRIUMPH; introduced 1909 and was to become among the most successful typewriter companies (with ADLER) in the world
