After I finished the Welcome needlework, I was given some closeout needlework kits, by a neighbor of mine who frequented all the craft shops, and had these laying around in her stash. She didn't think she would ever do them because she got involved in cross stitch, and wasn't doing needlepoint anymore. I started a small one of a mouse eating strawberries, then we took a kit with a basket of flowers which was slightly lightstruck, and began to stitch. We loved it! This basket came out beautifully, so we framed it and it now hangs on the wall with my pictures. |
