If I had to live my life over, I would choose to live in a different time period
It definitely would be the sixties.
With free love at stake and the culture about to break
What more is there to lose?
Music was the greatest and will never be the same way
All the bands were insane.
Throwing down unthinkable songs, album after album it was something to see.
I do wish I lived then, I would also sail the sea.
If dinosaurs lived during the sixties that would be great,
But of course they weren’t.
Family wise, I wish they were there
Always combing my hair
It would be something to see if all my friends and family were there with me.
As far as the stuff that I own
It’s all right if it’s blown out and broke,
It just matters to me that I’m with my family.
Back to the music, it would be rock n roll
Non stop rockin’ and I mean that.
So what I’m trying to say, is that the sixties were great back in the day,
And I would like to be there.
