College Application Process
Seniors should get started with the College Application process as early as possible during their Senior year.  During the Junior year and the summer between the Junior and Senior year much of the search work should be done.  Senior year should be a time to wrap up visitations and fill out the applications.
-Applications can be obtained from the colleges themselves during visitations, by phoning the college or by downloading them off the internet.
Lynda Miller, Registrar
The Counseling Department at Lenape High School also has a number of applications from a variety of colleges.

-After the student completes the application it should be brought to Mrs. Miller in the Registrar's office.  She will put a transcript together for the student.  The cost for this service and the stamps that are provided is $1.50.

-After Mrs. Miller puts together the transcript she will bring the application and the transcript to the Alpha Counselor.  The Alpha Counselor will then fill out the appropriate portions of the application and mail out the entire package.  It is the student's responsibility to collect recommendations and include them with this package.  Two teacher recommendations are often recommended.
