Anne Videau was born about 1642 in St-Sorel de Marennes, Rochefort, Saintes, Saintonge, France; the daughter of Jacques Videau and Marie Chauvelette. She arrived in the Quebec Colony as a Filles A Marier, contracted to be the bride of Jean Juneau. They were married February 26, 1662 in Ville De Quebec. Jean was born about 1596 in Notre Dame De Cogne, La Rochelle, Aunis, Charente-Maritime, France; Clement Juneau and Catherine Vergneau (widowed Marie Billaud). He and Anne would have three children before his death on June 24, 1672 at Ville De Quebec: Marie-Helene Juneau- Was born in 1665 and died unknown in Ville De Quebec. Anne Juneau- Was born in 1668 and died unknown in Ville De Quebec. Marie-Suzanne Juneau - Was born on January 20, 1671 and died unknown in Ville De Quebec. She married Toussaint Delaye and the couple had six children. Anne later married Etienne Blanchon on June 30, 1676 in Ville De Quebec. Etienne was a Tailor, born in 1632 at St Amable, Clermont, Auvergne, France; the son of Jean Blanchon and Marie-Antionette Rochon. Anne died on April 21, 1703 in Ville De Quebec and Etienne followed on May 21, 1712 in St. Etienne, Beaumont, Bellechasse, Quebec. Charles Blanchon - Was born on March 18, 1677 and died unknown in Ville De Quebec. Francois Blanchon - Was born on March 26, 1678 and died on October 06, 1680 in Ville De Quebec. Elisabeth Blanchon - Was born on June 18, 1679 in Ville De Quebec and died on June 15, 1749 in Batiscan. She married her stepbrother Pierre Juneau and the couple had six children. Louise Blanchon - Was born on December 10, 1680 and died unknown in Ville De Quebec. Marie-Anne Blanchon - Was born on March 31, 1682 and died unknown in Ville De Quebec. |
