Jacques was born in 1629 at Mervent, La Roche sur Yon, Vendee, France; the son of Jean Menard and Anne Savinelle. He and Catherine would have nine children. She died on March 31, 1694 in Boucherville and Jacques followed on January 14, 1707.
Jean-Baptiste Menard - Was born on November 27, 1660 in Trois-Rivieres and died on October 29, 1728 in Boucherville. He worked as a foreman for the nuns at the Hospital and married Marguerite-Louise Etienne, with whom he had eight children.
Louis Menard - Was born on July 28, 1662 in Trois-Rivieres and died unknown in Boucherville. He was a master carpenter and Captain of the Militia, marrying Marie-Anne Fevrier with whom he had at least two children.
Maurice Menard - Was born on June 06, 1664 in Trois-Rivieres and died on May 09, 1741 in Boucherville. He worked as an interpretor for Ouest in the Algonquin Village of Michillimakinac, (Mackinaw City), Quebec, where he met his Metis wife: Marie-Madeleine Miteoumigou Couc Lafleur. The couple had eight children.
Jean Menard - Was born on March 14, 1666 in Trois-Rivieres and died on May 07, 1702 in Montreal. He married Elisabeth-Marie Valiquet and the couple had six children.
Marguerite Menard - Was born on January 22, 1668 in Trois-Rivieres and died on April 03, 1699 in Boucherville. She married Pierre Cadieux.
Jeanne-Francoise Menard - Was born on May 21, 1669 in Trois-Rivieres and died on October 15, 1747 in Boucherville. She married Etienne Demers and the couple had seven children.
