Jean-Baptiste was born on November 26, 1636, in the Parish of St. Pierre de Moulins, Bourbonnais, France; the son of Jean Migeon, Sieur De Bransac, and Marie-Madeleine Des Bordes. He had been a lawyer in the Parliament of Paris and arrived in the colony to serve as a judge in Montreal.
He and Catherine would have ten children. Jean-Baptiste died on August 21, 1693 in Montreal and Catherine followed on March 14, 1721.
Louise-Suzanne Gauchet Migeon - Was born on March 26, 1669 and died on July 22, 1687 in Montreal.
Daniel Gauchet Migeon - Was born on August 06, 1671 and drowned in 1746 in Montreal. He had a child out of wedlock with Marie-Jeanne Aubuchon Chorel in 1704; but married Marie Just Guay; the daughter of Jean-Jerome Guay and Marie Just. They had two children.
Marie-Catherine Gauchet Migeon - Was born on December 16, 1674 and died on February 04, 1689 in Montreal.
Jean-Baptiste Gauchet Migeon - Was born on December 23, 1676 and died on October 16, 1677 in Montreal.
Denise-Therese Gauchet Migeon - Was born on February 05, 1678 and died unknown in Montreal. She married Charles Juchereau and the couple had five children.
Madeleine-Elisabeth Gauchet Migeon - Was born on November 25, 1679 and died on September 09, 1680 in Montreal.
Jean-Dominique Gauchet Migeon - Was born on June 12, 1681 and died unknown in Montreal.
Remy-Gabriel Gauchet Migeon - Was born on October 12, 1683 and died unknown in Montreal.
Marie-Anne Gauchet Migeon - Was born on January 27, 1685 in Montreal and died on August 31, 1771 in Ville De Quebec.
