Francoise Pinguet
(1625-1661)
Francoise Pinguet was born on March 15, 1625 at St. Aubin, Tourouvre, Mortagne, France; the daughter of early colonists Louis Henry Pinguet and Louise Boucher.  On November 07, 1645 she married Pierre De Launay, son of Gilles De Launay and Louise Dubois, and the couple would have three children.  On November 28, 1654, Pierre was captured by the Iroquois and never heard from again.

A few months later Francoise married Vincent Poirier on February 08, 1655, and would have three more children before her death on May 30, 1661.
Her De Launay Family
Charles Launay - Was born on May 31, 1648 at Quebec  and died on February 26, 1737 in Montreal.  He married Marie-Anne Legras and the couple had twelve children.

Louis Launay - Was born on May 08, 1650 in Montreal and died unknown.  He married a Native girl, Marie-Catherine Aouacamgo and the couple had three children.

Henry Launay - Was born on February 03, 1653 and died on November 25, 1715 in Quebec City.  He married Francoise Creste and the couple had fifteen children.
Her Poirier Family
Therese Poirier - Was born on October 05, 1659 and died on September 26, 1693 at Quebec.  She married Mathieu Guay and the couple had six children.

Anne Poirier - Was born on March 03, 1656 and died on February 01, 1704 at Ste. Foye, Cote-Nord-de-Quebec, Quebec.  She married Jacques Gaudry and the couple had seven children.  Jacques died in 1691 and Anne then married Ignace Bonhomme and had three more children.

Jean Poirier - Was born on September 18, 1657 and died on April 17, 1666 at Quebec.
