Jeanne Beaucier was born about 1618, at St-Georges-du-Rosay, Sarthe, France; the daughter of Jean Beaucier and Perrine Robin. She arrived in the Quebec Colony as a Filles A Marier, contracted to be the bride of Charles Palentin De La Pointe. They were married on October 14, 1658 at Notre-Dame in Ville De Quebec. They do not appear to have had any children. Jeanne died in 1676 and Charles then married Marie Bonnin (Bonne). He died on February 10, 1704 at St. Bernard, Charlesbourg, Quebec. |
