Madeleine Dubois
(1640-1721)
Madeleine Dubois was born about 1640 in the Parish of St. Sauvuer De La Rochelle, La Rochelle, France. She arrived in the Quebec Colony as a Filles A Marier, contracted to be the bride of Jean-Michel Baugis. They were married September 17, 1661 in Beauport, Quebec.

Michel was born in 1633 in Poiters, Poitou, France; the son of Francois Baugis and Denise Mercier.  He and Madeleine would have seven children before his death on November 26, 1717.  Madeleine followed on March 05, 1721.

Marie-Madeleine Baugis - Was born on September 07, 1662 and died on March 23, 1742 in Beauport.

Jean Baugis - Was born on August 10, 1663 and died on October 17, 1720 in Beauport.  He married Therese Parent and the couple had four children.

Marguerite Baugis - Was born on July 11, 1666 and died unknown in Beauport.  She married Pierre Parent and the couple had at least one child.

Marie-Anne Baugis - Was born on January 27, 1669 in Beauport and died on January 24, 1747 in Quebec City.  She married Pierre Charest and the couple had at least one child.

Louise Baugis - Was born in 1672 and died unknown in Beauport.

Jeanne Baugis - Was born in 1675 and died unknown in Beauport.  She married Francoise Langlois and the couple had at least one child.

Michel Baugis - Was born in 1679 in Beauport and on May 14, 1756 in Lachine.  He married Marie-Michelle Miville.
