Mathurin was born on August 18, 1637 at St-Hilaire-de-Nalliers, Fontenay-le-Comte, Poitou (Vendee), France; the son of Jean Chabot and Jeanne Rode. Marie and Mathurin would have thirteen children before her death on March 13, 1692 at St. Laurent, Ile D'orleans, Montmorency, Quebec. Mathurin followed on June 12, 1696.
Joseph Chabot - Was born on August 31, 1664 at Chateau Richer and died on September 27, 1738 at St. Laurent, Ile D'orleans, Montmorency, Quebec. He married Marie-Francoise Pouliot and the couple had thirteen chidlren.
Pierre Chabot - Was born in 1666 at Chateau Richer and died on August 07, 1721 at Kaskaskia, Quebec. He married a native girl; Symphorose Meroutapoucouc.
Jean Chabot - Was born on November 02, 1667 at Ste. Famille, Ille De Orleans, Quebec and died on September 14, 1727 at St. Laurent, Ile D'orleans, Montmorency, Quebec. He married Eleanore Henault and the couple had twelve children.
Mathurin Chabot Jr. - Was born on May 02, 1669 at St. Laurent, Ile D'orleans, Montmorency, Quebec and died in 1691.
Marie Chabot - Was born on September 04, 1671 at Ste. Famille and died on April 08, 1703 at St. Laurent. She married Charles Pouliot and the couple had seven children.
