A Marriageable Young Girl
Marie Pacreau
(1628-1699)
Marie Pacreau was born about 1628 in Criteuil-la-Magdeleine, Cognac, Santies, Saintonge, France; the daughter of Jacques Pacreau and Deborah Boulet.  She arrived in the Quebec Colony as a Filles A Marier, contracted to be the bride of Fiacre Ducharme.  They were married January 13, 1658 in Montreal.

Fiacre was born about 1627 in St. Benoit-De-Paris, Ile De France, France; the son of Touissaint Ducharme and Jacqueline Deroy.  He and Marie would have seven children before his death on March 17, 1676 in Montreal.  Marie would then marry Antoine Duvernay Pichon on February 14, 1678; but the union produced no offspring.  Antoine died on November 06, 1687 in Lachine and Marie followed on September 06, 1699.
The Next Generation
Louis Pacreau Ducharme - Was born on August 23, 1660 and was killed by the English in Battle at Laprairie near Montreal on August 11, 1691.  He married Anne Mallet and the couple had six children.

Pierre-Toussaint Paccreau Ducharme - Was born on August 21, 1662 and died on December 22, 1662 in Montreal.

Pierre-Fiacre Pacreau Ducharme - Was born on December 01, 1663 and was killed by the Iroquois near Montreal on June 07, 1691.  He married Marie Boudreau.

Claude Pacreau Ducharme - Was born on March 04, 1666 and died on February 01, 1684 in Montreal.

Marie-Madeleine Pacreau Ducharme - Was born on November 22, 1668 and died on January 02, 1687 in Montreal.

Pierre Pacreau Ducharme - Was born on January 03, 1672 and died unknown in Montreal.

Marie-Angelique Pacreau Ducharme - Was born on February 17, 1674 and died on August 26, 1742 in Montreal.  She married Claude Dudevoir and the couple had fifteen children.
