Romaine Boudet (1638-1673) |

Romaine Boudet was born about 1638 in Argeuil, Rouen, Normandy, France; the daughter of Pierre Boudet and Marguerite Liembre. She arrived in the Quebec Colony as a Filles A Marier, contracted to be the bride of Jean Normand. They were married September 19, 1661 in Ville De Quebec. Jean was born about 1609 in St-Etienne, Sens, Bourgogne, France; the son of Francois Normand and Jeanne Boissel. He died on April 23, 1666 in Ville De Quebec before the couple had children. Romaine then married Romain Becquet from Le Becde-Mortagne, Normandy, France, on June 05, 1666 in Ville De Quebec. They had one son, Jean-Baptiste; stillborn on October 05, 1667. |
