Suzanne (Michaud) Migaude (1648-1723)

Suzanne Migaud was born about 1648, possibly in La Rochelle; the daughter of Antoine Migaude and Marie Lorrain.  She arrived in the Quebec Colony as a Filles A Marier, contracted to be the bride of Pierre Trottier.  They were married January 18, 1662 at Trois-Rivieres. Pierre was born on March 16, 1643 in Inge, St. Martin, Mortagne, Perche, France; the son of Gilles Trottier and Catherine Loiseau.  He and Suzanne would have ten children before his death on January 08, 1692 in Batiscan.  Suzanne followed on April 30, 1723 in Boucherville.

The Next Generation

Benjamin-Joseph Trottier - Was born in 1665 in Batiscan and died on September 14, 1722 in Lachine.  He married Marie-Jeanne Robillard and the couple had at least four children. Marie Trottier - Was born in 1667 in Batiscan and died on November 22, 1740 at Trois-Rivieres.  She married Ignace Lefebvre and the couple had seven children. Marie-Catherine Trottier - Was born in 1670 and died on March 01, 1723 in Batiscan.  She married Michel Lefebvre and the couple had eleven children. Agnes Trottier - Was born in 1672 and died unknown in Batiscan. Marie-Madeleine Trottier - Was born in 1675 and died unknown in Batiscan. Marguerite Trottier - Was born in 1677 and died unknown in Batiscan. Marie-Josephe Trottier - Was born in 1679 and died on August 15, 1703 in Batiscan. Marie-Anne Trottier - Was born on January 01, 1682 in Batiscan.  She became a nun and died on March 04, 1703 in Ville De Quebec. Pierre-Valcourt Trottier - Was born in 1685 in Batiscan and died on May 03, 1759 in Ste-Genevieve de Berthierville, Lanaudiere, Quebec.  He married Jeanne Mercereau and the couple had at least one child. Marie-Genevieve Trottier - Was born on April 12, 1689 and died unknonw in Batiscan.  She married Rene Bernard and the couple had eleven children.
