Hello! My summer job for the past 5 summers has been working as a counselor at Camp Little Cloud near Epworth, IA. Camp Little Cloud is a Girl Scout Camp that serves girls from the ages of 6 to 17 in residential and day camp sessions during a 7 to 8 week season each summer. I'm looking forward to 2001: A Camp Odyssey which will be my 6th summer at camp! |

This page is dedicated to my wonderful counselor buddies of 2000 at camp. Without them, I wouldn't be having nearly as much fun! To Babbit, Leggs, Panda, Mab, Clover, Rainbow, Gizmo, Pebbles, Itchquake, Cricket, Merky, Kit, Caboose, Gramma, Bubbles, Petunia, Sudz, Speed Racer, Smiley, Ziggy, Goofy, and Pooh ... I love you all! Since I work at a Girl Scout Camp, I thought I would include graphics of my cute little girls, as Brownies (1st-3rd grade), Juniors (4th-6th grade), and Cadettes (7th-9th grade). I couldn't find any Senior Girl Scout graphics. Visit |

Belle's Favorite Cookout Foods: |
Pioneer Pillows (for breakfast)
Bread slices - cut into 1/4 pieces Pancake Batter - thinned down Cooking oil Powdered sugar, cinnamon & sugar, paper bags
Heat cooking oil on a fire or camp stove. When oil is hot, dip bread squares into pancake batter and drop into the hot oil (an adult does this). Flip the squares when sides are brown. Remove from oil when browned. Put pillows in paper bags with sugar inside. Have the kids shake the bags and place the covered pillows in a serving bowl. Yum. These are like doughnuts.
Banana Boats (for dessert)
Bananas Toppings (whatever you prefer - any or all) chocolate chips, marshmallows, peanut butter, carmels, etc. Aluminum Foil
Cut banana lengthwise through the peel (don't peel bananas) so there is a little pocket to put in the filling. Fill bananas with whatever toppings you prefer. Then wrap the bananas with tinfoil and place on the coals of the fire. When the banana "handle" is dark, the banana boat is ready to eat.
Garlic Bread
Cut french bread in pieces. Butter one side, add garlic powder. Wrap the bread back up in aluminum foil. Place on the coals. Flip the foiled loaf frequently so the bread doesn't burn. Great with any camp meal in my opinion. I love garlic bread!
