While preparing this page, we stumbled across a problem: the sheer size of Elrond's Biography. Maybe there is indeed a lot to say... or maybe the fact that he's our favourite character doesn't let us be impartial and cut down on irrelevant info.

Whatever the reason, we found that it was necessary to separate this Biography into subsections; and the most logical partitioning was according to the Ages. We also created three special pages - Vilya, Imladris and "The Council of Elrond and the Forming of the Company of the Ring" -, as we felt the information contained therein weighed down the main text, but couldn't bring ourselves to leave it out.
