Gregory's April trip to Pennsylvania was a blast. We were thrilled that his parents were able to accompany him to see my part of the country, and to roam around my hometown. We even took our first small excursion together and took plenty of pictures. Throughout the next four pages you will find photos from the Corning Museum of Glass, and then one final page from our adventures on Friday with one of my friends.

This is a glass boat/canoe. Inside of it all sorts of fishing and indian artifacts also made of glass.

This is one of several of Greg's "Abstract Art" pictures. I really have no idea what it is, sorta looks like legs, or a pair of pants to me.

This is another one of Greg's abstract photos. I recall this glass piece being entitled "Black Cube" and wondering HOW PROFOUND!

Hehe, an all glass chess set; really a beautiful piece. It was kind of funny, and I am glad he took a picture of it. We got a great laugh out of it as the black pieces were Jewish in nature, and we celebrate "Jewish Tuesday" here.

This stained glass wall/mural was one of several in the museum. They were all very beautiful, but it seems to be the only one we have photos of.

Boys, will be boys! Greg had to have a picture of this baseball bat made of glass.

This piece of work is amazing. The story with it, was that there were two made for a King, and he gave them as a gift to his Queen.

I wonder if the King also owned this and used it as his gravy boat, or possibly a punch bowl for parties?

I loved this! Right through the entrance they had this massive piece placed.

It reminds me of a Christmas tree, and I think it could easily be used as a year-round-xmas-tree!

This was all along one of the walls in a gallery. They did glass designs of joints and bones and such.
