Starting Gate

Senior's Race (new in 2003)

This is a memorial race in honor of Nancy  Stanbery who passed away last year.  Nancy helped me plan the first and  second races, and she will be missed.  All Doxies ten years and older will  be able to join the fun.   The "Senior's Race" (20 feet).

Last Chance Race (new in 2003)

This is a memorial race in honor of Chloe.   She is the black and tan short hair Doxie on the cover of The Courier the first  year.  She loved the races.  She came to me in need of a home and love  in her later years.  Any Doxie can run in this open race.

Mayor's Cup (new in 2003)

This is a obedience/obstacle race.   This will be the last race of the day and was new last year.

Puppy Race

This race is for all Doxies six months and  younger.  The puppies race 20 feet.

Adult Race

This race is 35 feet long.  The dogs  are raced three at a time, categorized by age and weight.

*All winners receive a medal and all  those with medals race for Grand Champion and Reserve Champion Trophies.*

Dr. Jamey Rausch is our vet on duty.  He will hold dicussion groups on various Doxie health topics. 

T-Shirts  and videos can be ordered  and ready the day of the race. 

As time gets closer to the events, the  forms will be online for you to print and send in to enter your Doxie.

This year, I would like to have a bigger  tent and the bleachers inside.  My hope is that all can see the race events better.  Plans are being made to add a new race for children.
