“So, you’re Justin’s sister?”  Michael finally was able to get the question out that was on everyone’s mind.  Justin and Alex were sitting opposite the guys, and were quite enjoying their dumbfounded silence.

“Sure is.  Of course, she’s older.  Much older.”  Justin responded playfully.

Alex smacked Justin lightly upside the head.  “Brat.  I’m a whopping five years older than you.  That hardly puts me in the senior citizen category.”

“Older is still older.”

“Yeah, and bratty is still bratty.”

Michael, Ben and Emmett exchanged smiles as they watched the siblings argue good-naturedly.  Justin had rarely been this relaxed since before the prom.  Also, they were so similar it was creepy.

“It’s obvious that you guys are related, since you seem to have identical personalities, but you don’t really look very much alike.”  Ben commented.

“Yes we do!  We have the same eyes, the same nose, the same facial structure and the same lips.  We’re practically identical.  The only difference is our hair coloring.”  Justin answered.

“And gender.  Basically, I’m Justin with long red hair and tits.”  Alex joked.

Everyone laughed.  “I got the blond hair, Alex got the red hair, and Molly got a combination of both, hence her strawberry blonde hair.”

“So Alex, what do you do, where do you live?”

Alex opened her mouth to answer, when Justin answered for her.  “Alex lives in New York.  She’s a dramatic arts design professor at NYU.  She also works as a costume designer for some New York production companies.  She’s worked on movies and TV shows.”

“That sounds interesting.  Do you like what you do?”

Alex was again cut off as she attempted to respond.  “She loves it!  She’s started working for the production companies when she was still in college.  She liked it so much, she decided to work it into her schedule even after she got her job at NYU.”

“That’s amazing Alex!  I could barely see your lips move.  Is ventriloquism a natural talent or do you have to practice a lot?”  Michael asked teasingly.  Justin looked down sheepishly and then threw a wadded up napkin at Michael.

“Oh, it’s definitely a natural gift.  In fact I managed to really perfect it by the time Justin learned to speak.”  Alex answered, smiling at her baby brother.

“So, what do plan to do while visiting?”

“I know!  We can go to the Andy Warhol museum today.  And then we can have lunch at that deli you used to love and go the…”

“Hold on a second, motor mouth.  Don’t you have class?”

“Fuck class!  Alex…”

“Justy, whining will get you nowhere.”  Justin looked thoroughly dejected.  “Justy, I’m going to in the Pitts for at least a couple of months.  I took the semester off, and the latest script, I can design for from here.  Meanwhile, you still have class, and doesn’t that include midterms?”

“Yeah.”

“Then, you’re fucking going.  We’ll have plenty of time to spend together.”  Alex looked at him closely.  “You’ve worked too hard to fuck this up.”

“It’s just that…”

“I know and I promise.  Now don’t you have a class at 9?  I’ll give you a ride.”

“Yeah, but…”

Alex gave Justin a look.  He conceded quickly, “I’ll get my stuff.”

“If you stop pouting, I’ll let you drive.”

Justin finally smiled.  “Can I have a cookie, too?”

“Only if you’re really good.”

Just went to get his things.  The guys looked amazed.  Deb came over from her listening point at the counter.  “How the hell did you do that?  Sunshine is one of the most stubborn boys I know.  He barely put up a fight with you.”

“Years of practice.  And the art of negotiations.”  Alex smiled.

“Alex, I’m ready.”

“It was a pleasure meeting all of you.  After hearing about you for so long, it was nice to finally be able to put faces with the names and stories.”

“No sweat, Sugar.  Justin you be sure to bring Alex with you Babylon or Woody’s one night soon so we can continue to get to know her.”

“I’ll be sure to, Em.”

“Sunshine, you also bring Rosey over to house for dinner one night so Vic can meet her and I can grill her on your early years.”

“Sure Deb.”  Justin replied.  Alex leaned over and whispered to him, “Rosey?”

“Looks like you’ve got a nickname, too.”  He whispered back.

“Bye you guys.”

They watched as the siblings walked out of the diner joking and laughing.

“OK, that was weird.”

“Yeah, how come we never heard anyone mention anything about Justin having another sister?  You’d think that would come up in a conversation.”

“They’re cute together though.  And they’re obviously very close.  Plus Alex mentioned knowing and hearing a lot about us.”

“But did you see Justin’s reaction to seeing her?  There’s something wrong there.  I’ll tell you one thing boys, that girl has got a story.”

“Tell me, are your lives so boring that you’ve resorted to discussing women?”  No one had noticed Brian’s approach.  “You guys are pathetic.  Deb, can I get some coffee?”

As Deb went to get Brian’s drink, he addressed the men seated across from him with an uninterested tone.  “So, who’s this ‘girl with a story’?”

“Justin’s sister.”

Brian raised an eyebrow as he poured sugar into his coffee.  “Molly’s 12 years old.  She’s too young to have a story.”

The guys exchanged looks.  Finally Michael responded, “We weren’t talking about Justin’s little sister.  We were talking about Alex.”

Brian’s head shot up at the name as he dropped his spoon.  “Alex?”

“Yeah, Alex.  Justin’s older sister.”

“Sister?”

‘Oh, SHIT…Fuck me!’
