Well, after a good deal of putting it off, I have finally put up the page of myself, and my best friend, Eric Thaxton. He and I have had an interesting past. Back in the good old days, of playing pickup football games and such, he and I used to constantly be at odds with Cal Haskins playing the middle of the field. Things always used to revolve around who was better friends with him (Don't ask why. It was an odd neighborhood). This went on for several years, until the two of us realized what was going on. A few years ago, he had a surgery (You probably don't want to know what it was, and if you remember it, you probably do not want to think about it), and a couple of days afterwards, he called me over to his house because he was bored and could not leave the house. We spent some time together on that day, and from that point on, we've been practically inseperable. We've had a few beers, done and said some stupid things here and there, and God knows between the two of us we've killed a lot of brain cells. Nonetheless though, he still remains my best friend. He is my compatriot, a guy I can usually rely on as someone to drink beer with. He is practically my brother, and he considers my father to be a second father to him, as does my father consider him to be a son. ET, let's go get some beer. |
